WHO AND WHAT ARE WE?

The SouthWest Pineywoods Landowners Association was formed in 2023 and strives to follow one simple mission - to lead in advancing and serving its community of members and the industry at large.

The SouthWest Pineywoods Landowners Association has initially partnered with Lone Star Forestry, HomeLand Properties, the Texas A&M Forest Service, and Upland Earthworks to begin a network . This organization stemmed from a former timberland owners association (in connection with the Texas Forestry Association) in Walker County that is no longer. We want to include all landowners in the Walker County area, along with Harris, Montgomery, San Jacinto, and Grimes Counties.

 

Our goal is provide a network of landowners in these areas along with resources for real estate, forestry, land management, minerals, taxes – the list goes on.
